One more of the hydrangeas before they start to wilt.  Interestingly, I am finding that the more that I text the more I am having a hard time remembering to write out whole words like "before" instead of writing "b4" - not really what I want to be doing.  I guess the key is to write out the whole word in the text.

Another crab painting...these are on an 8x8 wrapped canvas with a light yellowish background.  I was going for the sand look but didn't quite make it.  I liked how it turned out anyway so I am not going to change it.

This is a pretty realistic looking crab except I used cerulean blue instead of what I would typically use, ultramarine blue.  I really like the effect so I think I will keep it!

I just really love this photo taken by my friend's daughter, Caroline.  This is 10x10 - I wanted to do something a bit larger.  I have an urge to paint crabs now, I have been looking at some old reference photos and have found a few that I particularly like.

Ok, so this is obviously about the leaf.  Hydrangeas have really nice leafs don't you think?  Also, this is one of the blue hydrangeas.

I kept thinking that there was something that I needed to do, of course that was post on my blog!  These hydrangeas are right outside my studio window!  How lucky is that?  I also have some blue and some purple in the yard but I have a feeling that you are going to see a lot of these pretty in pink flowers.

This is a larger piece that I have been working on and it is getting  wayyyyyy too complicated.  Have to do something about it.  It is really unfinished.
